A place for Unappreciated moms...

I created this blog because I wanted to see just how many moms felt unappreciated, either by their spouses, children or BOTH!!!! I am a stay at home mom who also works part time from home. And yes this is a legitimate job that I do from home.... I have 3...oooops I mean 4 children (I had to include my husband). I have come to realize over the years that moms are just NOT appreciated any more. Why do I have to constantly find empty cans, and cups around the house. Is it that hard to put them in the sink or trash when you are finished drinking? And why is it that the whole house seems to be like a closet because everywhere you look there are shoes where they shouldn't be? And is it that hard to push a chair in when you are finished sitting in it? I mean these are the little things but the little things add up after a few days. Moms work hard at what we do and all we ask is for a little understanding and appreciation. In actuality it is just common courtesy when you think about it. I mean, no one has to ask for the laundry to get done or meals to be fixed, or anything else. I just do it because I am a courteous individual, although I am very close to going on strike.....Let's see how well they do with that....LOL!!!!! I just don't get it all. I know that I am not the only mom out there that feels this way or that has a family that you feel just doesn't appreciate all that you do. Sure they recognize you for that one day a year "Mother's Day" when they have to but what about the other 364 days what is wrong with just appreciating MOM.
